You do not have permission to enter this database

Hello,
I get the above message when I try to open a database created by someone that no longer works here. I tried to create a new version of the workgroup information file and assume the permissions of the administrator, but I still cannot access the database. Any leads?

No I did not. Shift plus....? Not sure what you mean by shift button.

Press a SHIFT button and hold it when you try to open DB.

Hold shift when double clicking the .mdb file, and it will open the database in design mode.

That will not work if the database is properly secured using Access security with a custom workgroup and user permissions. If that is the case then you will have to pay to [break] into the database. Search the forum for there are other posts related to some site listings that [claim] can unlock a "secured" Access database.

Please post back with your expereice if you have success with the services from another web site that can help you unlock your secured Access database.
