All,
new here...so be gentle! I'm actually an Oracle DBA and have been asked to fill in for support of an Access 2010 database. As far as i know, all was fine thru last Thursday. We have a database used by 1 department and the DB is stored ona netwrok shared drive. Over the weekend, our network folks moved the database files to a new shared drive. Now no one can get in, keep getting the following: "You do not have the necessary permissions to use the <path_to_.mdb> object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you."
I also get this message, even tho I am an admin on the shared drive. Network guys say permissions are open, but i dont know how to verify. They keep saying its th edatabase that is blocking - but i dont see how since I cant even open it! ANy guidance is greatly appreciated!:banghead:
