Hello,

I would like to ask you a question about the report. I have a query with 9 fields but sometimes i have 6 fields and sometimes i have the full fields, so 9. Is it possible to do a report with 9 fields but if i have 6 fields, i would this report with 6 fields and i don't want to redo the report if the numbers of fields move.

Thanks you for you advice

I don't see why not. If you are just looking at suppressing labels when there is no data in the column, there are a couple of ways to do that.

1 is to put the field and label together in a text box in a formula that would only show both if there is data. Problem is you get the lable in the detail and it is repeating for every record.

I havent tested this, but it might work to do the formula in the label itself.

If this is what you are trying to do, try this in one of the sometimes labels and test it.

=IIF([labelscoorespondingfieldname] is null, null, "Label Name Here")

The equation is If and only If (IIF) (an expression = something, if expression true do this, if false do this)

Let us know if your problem is other than supressing labels.
