It's nice to join this community, I think I will benefit from it.
I live in Quebec city ..I'm french!
I work for a major mining company as a geological technician. We deal with databases all the time (mostly Acquire for all geological data), but access for more common things.
I am not a database wiz, nor a programmer, but I thought I could start learning since it would be a great asset for my job, and I love learning new computer programs. I had a lot of fun learning AutoCAD anyway, when you get the whole of it, it is so rewarding! (I am now designing the plans for my new house myself, how neat is that!)
That being said, I am a stubborn learner, and I always seek answers so I hope i'm at the right place.
BTW, I like the ''Head bagning on a brick wall'' icon, I think I will use it a lot since Access is more complicated than I thought.
Finally, I am reading Access 2010: The missing book, and I also try to build my first inventory database at the same time, so off I go, see you in other threads!
Cheers
