Having to use Chrome for this as I am getting this error with Pale Moon, which Ihave been using for ages here?
This occurs when I press Login. Normally I am remembered?

No issues for me so far, using FF.

Well I was able to login with FF. :(

Off to investigate more in that case. :(

Thanks Paul.

@Jon may want to weigh in on this one. There was a similar error in the past and I can't remember the fix.

Hmm, back in as normal now?

Of course! It's like when you bring your car to the mechanic and it won't make the sound that made you bring it to them.

Well I appear as normal when looking at the What's New threads, but when I go into one, then I am suddenly not logged in? :(
Except for this thread, it appears? :)

Not going to say this is ALWAYS the fix but... when I get that, if I immediately click the "reload page" icon and try again, it usually works. Which, if it DOES work, usually means a spotty download. (Doesn't say WHY the download was spotty.) I'm on FireFox at the moment.

Here's the old thread where we all had it.

This one specifies Security error though?
All seems to be working at present.

Appears to be with What's New Link?. If use New Posts, it recognises me?

We can keep an eye on it, but there are so many moving parts between server to user that it is only when it is a persistent issue it is worth looking at.

The only thing I've noticed lately is that my message icon the envelope, and the bell icon, both of which normally notify me of replies, occasionally don't appear to indicate that I have a reply.

No problem at all I just thought I should take this opportunity to mention it.

For me, recently, up till a few minutes ago, connectivity goes off the URL(access-programmers.co.uk), even though i am able to open other websites, then after a few seconds connectivity is restored back.

I don't see the "Oops" message very often (like, not at all in the past few days), but when I do it usually involves network slowdown issues. Makes me wonder if there is some component of the web page that has an unusually short timeout.
