I'm trying to make our company's website easier for everyone else in my office to update, and I was told I should try linking it to a database. I've input all the necessary data into an access database, and made the htm interface to add, delete and edit records but at the moment the only way i know to put it into the website is merging the data into a word document, THEN copying it to notepad, THEN copying into dreamweaver (phew!).
Is there any way to directly link these programs so that the user can input the data, click a button and it's imported to dreamweaver?? Should i go about it a different way?
I'd much prefer to stick with access with the work thats gone into it so far.
Also, php doesn't seem to work on this computer, all i ever get is a blank screen and i've tried the codes from a number of tutorials.
