Hi
This will be an easy one.

I have 2 tables one called production and another called associated
When I created this database 2 years ago I managed to reference a column from production to Associated i.e a field called kit number that was in production also showed the same data in associated. I havent touched Access since then have forgotten everything, I would now like to reference a field called completed date from production in to associated,

Any help gratfullly recieved.

Thanks

Bruta

Duplicating the data is generally poor practice. It is better to use queries to join tables as needed.

If you want to add an additional column to the already duplicated data, find the code in your update form where the duplicate record is added to the associated table. Modify it to include the additional field.
