I had this problem years ago, all of a sudden it's back.
Is it because have too many subforms?

How many subforms are you talking about?

5, i don't think that is the problem. It may be that the last on is corrupted.
I'm gonna try impoting it into and another database and then deleting the original and importing it back. That sometime unbreaks things

Did you happen to use the same SourceObject for more than one subform control?

No. I did make a copy of another form from a different main form. Changed the name and the underlying query.

If deleting that subform corrected the problem, there's a pretty good chance the subform was either corrupted or that there is a problem in the recordsource for it.
