Text Box (1 Viewer)

I am having a problem with the way the entered data is displaying in my text box. Here is an example below:

The Insured called and
asked why did we
deny her
claim.

The entered text will move to the next line automatically when there is plenty of space left on the previous line. I have set Can Shrink and Can Grow to Yes and No with no difference. I have set the scroll bars to none and vertical, no effect.

I am confused as to why this is happening.

can shrink/grow only applies to printing and not data entry/display on forms
