One control makes all adjacent controls grow

Hello here,
I have a report created from scratch design which has several text box controls from a query. All the controls are arranged in 4 (visual) columns. I've set all controls 'Can Grow' to yes. Problem is, if a control grows in 3rd column, it automatically also grows adjacent controls in other columns creating lot of white space in other columns.

All columns have different number of text boxes and I even changed their physical sizes (just in case Access 2010 was smart enough to think that they're siblings). No layout (either stacked or tubular) is selected, so I am confused why this is happening. Please enlighten.

It displays each Record the same size. That is how it works. what is it that you have for which you would need it to be otherwise?

Thanks for reply. I am attaching image which has been marked red and blue for better understanding. Because the red part has grown, the adjacent text boxes (blue part) also grow which I don't want to grow.

The text controls have been manually arranged in this fashion so I don't see why they are behaving as a group or as if they are bound to each other. Thanks again for help.

Yep, that's how it works and without using a set of subreports there is no way to deal with it. The way you could deal with it is to have the addresses part be one subreport and the other information be another subreport to the right of the first.
