Reports "Too Many Fields Defined"

I have been trying to put together a report to give me a statement for payments. It is based on a query. The table is fine, the query executes fine with the data I want, the report (on design view), recognizes the source of the data in each of the fields, BUT when it comes to loading it, it gives me the message that "Too Many Fields Defined". The query doesn't have too many fields - neither does the table.

I have also tried to re-design the report from scratch, but at some point, it gives me the same message. Has anybody else experienced this, and found a solution?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Post you database with the report and some sample data.

Hello,

Sorry, I was travelling in some remote part of the country with no internet connection.

I have attached the database here, as you asked. For the reports, I have included two that work, and two that don't. Hope this helps in solving the problem I am facing.

Thanks.
Maurice

Hmm - I think you forgot to attach the database. :)

Oh, Sorry about that. I didn't know that the forum doesn't take .rar uploads. I have split it in two because after zipping, it was over 2MB.
Thanks for the help.

Sorry, I only see 1 report, (and it looks like a mix of a report and a form), see attached picture.

Here are some other reports on top of the ones I had mentioned. I hope this helps to clarify the problem.
Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not able to help you, then I can't se the logic behind your queries and reports. I can't see the logic in pulling nearly 200 fields together in a query, if you don't need them in the report.
And I don't see the logic in using combo boxes in a report.

JHB,

I did find a solution to what was troubling me. Thanks for your time and help.

Maurice.
