Question Conversion DB 03 to 07

Have a 2003 db need to convert to 2007
this one keeps telling me it is opened by user and cannot convert
I have it on my desktop and only person with access to it
I have opened it exclusively, tried renaming, etc.
Any help much appreciated

You can give this a try. Navigate to your progams folder, find office, find access. Right click, open as admin. Now click the office button, and open exclusive as you did before.

That didn't work either.
I've converted over 20 db in the past year...Never had this kind of trouble.

Did you try opening it with the shift bypass? Also, maybe try creating a new shell.

well try compact and repair your database and and then try to convert...

Also, why not create a blank shell in 2007, and import the objects?

Yep, created a new shell and imported.
Way quicker than trying to find the other solution.
