Hi,

I am preparing a contract in Access and it is very lengthy. When I placed all the text boxes in Details section of the reports one under one (Vertical - that is required). But the maximum length of Access report is 55 Cm.

How about if I need more length as I need to place more text boxes.

Can you someone tell me how can I make it more lenghty? Can I set any Tab one after one to cover length of my report?

Regards,
Ashfaque

Use Subreports make them very short and set them to CanGrow.
That way you can get many pages in.

It is not possible to circumvent the maximum report length which is approx. 55cm per section and 200cm in total.
But that is the maximum in design view. The actual report can be thousands of pages long if needed

Changing the paper size won't help at all in this situation.
Using subreports as suggested may work but only if the detail section in design view remains within the length limit.

As Micron suggested it may be worth exporting to another program.
I use the Super Easy Mail Merge and its very good but you would need to check whether that would work for you.
You could also consider exporting several smaller reports as PDFs them merging them into one combined PDF for your full report

a contract is not limited to 1 page. you add a PageBreak Control ti where you want to start another page.

@arnelgp
It doesn't make any difference how many page breaks you add to your report.
The limitation is that you cannot exceed the maximum section height or total report height in design view.

Thanks for advises from different experts.

It has been solved by adding sub-reports. I can have now 11 pages pdf report
