I read something in your link that obliges me to explain something.

Æ refers to the elven spelling of Ai, which is short for Artificial Intelligence and also means love in Japanese.

In Japanese, Ai is a very special word that is used in a special way. Depending on how it is used it can mean, love, dust, dirt, sorrow & pain. I can’t understand why the parents took love side and not the pain.

On a side note, Here, the parents are not allowed to choose a name that MAY end to being bullied in future. I remember someone chose Devil as his son’s name, but it was rejected. I think that name will not be granted if they lived here.
