I know we're all working from home these days, but in an office environment where many people are working, the sound of tooltips going off around you as your coworkers use this Access database application might not be the most popular feature.@woef22 (rainier)
You emailed me a few days ago with the same question and an attached ACCDB file. I replied the same day saying the file was blocked by Outlook and asking you to zip it.
It’s not difficult to play a sound with a tooltip though your users may not like the result. However, many users disable tooltips as they can be very distracting. In my opinion there are better ways of getting users attention.
I also agree about starting a new thread
Mine for total calories lasted less than a day,,,,I put audio on my database to alert me if I exceeded the daily carbs limit. It lasted a few days, then went silent again.![]()
