Trump Administration Predictions (1 Viewer)

They brought him back because he was under suspension not outright fired. Conservatives and Trump read to much into the decision

Don't you just love the power of calling for someone's removal because you think he has done something unforgivable? Apparently what Charlie did was even more unforgivable because he was cancelled permanently by someone who thinks like you.

If you object to a particular law, you should be blaming Congress for passing the law rather than the Executive branch for enforcing it. The Executive branch does not get to pick and choose which laws it should enforce. The Constitution isn't a suggestion, neither are laws passed by Congress. There is no "use your own judgement" qualification in the Constitution.

It is not in the public interest for public figures to lie to the public. The accumulated weight of lies spread by broadcast TV should result in every license being pulled if we are going to use "lie" as the criterion. The problem with this one test though is "did the person know he was lying?". If it was an honest mistake, then an apology should be forthcoming. If it was a malicious, intentional lie, no apology will be offered.
The "public interest" requirement is a bad law and Carr's actions were clearly unconstitutional interference with free speech.

Trump has been picking and choosing which laws to enforce. He decided not to spend money the Congress appropriated. Another example is Trump's refusal to enforce the anti-TikTok law. It is a stupid law but it only allowed the President to extend it once for 90 days.

"bad law" is only your opinion because it seems to be directed at someone you favor. Removing Trump and many other conservatives was OK in your book. Your hypocrisy is showing;)

Free speech applies only to the government censoring people. ABC suspended Kimmel because of the revolt of their affiliates not because the FCC told them to.

Additionally, since the airways belong to the public, the broadcasters who use them MUST follow the rules established by the FCC. I personally agree that government agencies shouldn't be making "law". But I mean ALL government agencies, not just the ones I don't agree with.

Those on the left went apoplectic when Kimmel and Colbert get caught-up in the free-speech dust-up.
Yet, under the Biden administration, those on the left appeared to be all in favor of suppressing free-speech under the guise of "disinformation" and/or "hate speech" Google has now joined the parade of those admitting to suppressing free-speech. The likes of Kimmel and Colbert will continue to play the victim card falsely claiming to support free-speech, never apologizing for their suppression of free-speech.

YouTube has also joined in, allowing censored conservatives back on their platform. Google, Facebook and YouTube have all admitted to censoring the right on behalf of the Biden administration, shocker.

Maybe the people infected with TDS will now recognize how the press has manipulated their opinion of Trump by their constant negative attacks. Maybe Trump isn't really the evil orange man. Maybe he's just a stand up comedian who has a misunderstood sense of humor.

who has a misunderstood sense of humor.
I say that because the left always takes Trump's jokes as Gospel. He jokes that he's going to be a tyrant on day 1 and they go crazy because they think he's let them in on some secret plan when he's frequently just feeding them back their opinions.

I guess "not anything other than MAGA" does not mean "MAGA" in your version of English.
and I think he did clearly say, "trying to convince themselves the shooter was anything other than MAGA", which is the equivalent of saying was Maga. It truly was a stupendously, horrifically foolish thing to say, but it's still qualifies as an opinion, and ought to be protected free speech. I don't want to have my opinions censored, no matter how outlandish YOU think they are
