Double click on subform current record, Open another form through if criteria field is equal.

No idea what you are trying to say. Please reword, then think about what is written to see if someone who has no idea what you are doing could understand what you want.

I think he meant that he has a subform that is either in a datasheet view or maybe a list. In the subform contains records that when double clicked, it will open up a new form that pertains to that particular record.

I had a similar situation just a few days ago, i will post the code once i get to work tomorrow.

if criteria field is equal
This is the part that makes no sense whatsoever, at least until we know what is really meant by it. Until these words I "knew" what was being asked.

This appears to be a great link that needs to be read before posting questions. It might help get an answer much quicker. It's title is: How to Ask Questions The Smart Way. This is the official link for this forum.

Golferguy, that's a great link. I've come to this forum for help many times and have had my questions answered quickly.

Thank you

Thank you,

I don't quite understand what you are asking... Did you say that you the code is already working? or are you asking why the form doesn't open the particular record when double clicked?

you have to put an event code ondoubleclick under the field's properties.
