I have a purchase order report I built. The management wants me to center the description field on rows that are for description only so they stand out more on the purchase orders.

Code:
ie.
           Line Item Description QTY PRICE

row 1 | For Job# 1
row 2 | 1 BIT 1/4" part numb 6001 1 $0.02
row 3 | PLEASE SHIP VIA UPS

I wanted to know if this is possible. if line item is null, center description. which is a memo field in Access

Thank you Bob, I will use that as a last resort, my users hate the idea of shortcuts, they complain so much haha.

I have an idea, but I don't know if it is possible either.
What if I took the richtext from the memo and minipulated it from VBA?
maybe use a find function to locate the <div> and replace it with <div align=center> if the po_item_number is null : )

Is that possible?

That's why I am here to see if I can get some help out with something like that. I have done something similar in excel with VBA. : )

Not really possible with the Access controls.

You would probably need Stephen Leban's Rich Text Control.
