Combox box problrem - (not working)

I have created a combo box (or tried to) to look up a record and it fell over could find d/b

using the wizard i have asked it to look up a record based ona number "QuotePolicyNo" which is in the drop down selection and it falls over witht he following message
Could not findfile C:/documents and settings/hp_owenr/my documents/select Quotetbl.mdb

all the slashes are the wrong way round as this keyborad hasn't a back slash ..(?)

first my D/b is on the desktop - i moved it from its folder to see if that would work ..No
i have created a new d/b and imported allth e forms in ... no

any ideas--

Is the Table from which the Combo Data is coming from, Linked to the Database (Front-End)?

If so, try deleting the Links and Re-Linking the Tables again.

If the Combo is getting its Data from a Query, then check over the Query to ensure there are no errors.

no the d/b is un split at this point and its looking at a table

perhaps-- however i am using the wizard and it should know where i left the d/b i have not moved anything - and I have used the wizard before and no problems --

i think i will start the forms again and see what happens
