Reset Autonumbers back to 1st use

Hiya guys

Is there a way I can reset all my ID numbers back to the start (1)

The Dbase is now finished and I'm up at 456 on AutonumberID?

I read somewhere that if you delete all form data and do a compact and repair it resets them, but that didn't work

A quick way to do it is to use my database reset tool.

But yes, deleting all data and compacting should do it.

The delete/compact should work; I just did it last night on a customer's db, also Access 2007. If your db is split, it's the back end you want to compact, not the front.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. It won't do a thing for you if you do it on the frontend.
