Hello,

Simple question (if I can ask it correctly)...

How do I properly quote a field if it is a number or text?

i.e. I know a number textbox is written as " & fldA.Value & "

How is it written if it is a text field (or any other type)?

If you are referring to building an SQL string then you wrap it in single quotes like this:

'" & fldA.Value & "'

NB: At the beginning, the single quote is followed by a double quote, and at the end the single quote follows after the double quote.
singleQuote doubleQuote & VALUE & doubleQuote singleQuote
without the spaces of course
