Hello friends

There is a problem I face

I have a program working by sql 2000
but my operating system is Win 7 that not supporting sql 2000
Have I setup sql 2005 or what I have to do ????

If you are using SQL Server 2000, and Windows 7 no longer supports it, then you have no choice but to upgrade to a newer version of SQL Server, unless you want to migrate to another SQL Database entirely. You mentioned SQL Server 2005, but might want to consider a newer version so as to not have to upgrade again in a year or two.

If you are using SQL Server as a Data Server, then there should be little problems with your upgrade. If, however, you have a large amount of Views, Stored Procedures, or Stored Functions, then these could need to be modified before they will work with the upgraded server. The newer the server, the higher the possibility that a change might be required.
