My suggestion is for you to spend an hour downloading those that look interesting. If you find one that looks like it could fit your situation, it will save many hours for you later. In addition, you might get some good ideas by example.
Since your Linking is complete, I would also suggest that you mark the current question as solved. Then post a new question specifically asking how to create a search lookup on a different table. Now that they are linked, it doesn't matter that it is on a different DB.
That will get someone focused on your question faster.
