    Vista - Access 2003 Can't replace Db

That was it!!! Thanks. Why in the world does Vista hide the file in another folder? It stored it in Local\Virtual Store\Program Files. Is there anyway to turn this off? Thanks again for your help!!

    Vista - Access 2003 Can't replace Db

How do you disable the UAC? Is that a setting in the User Accounts in the Control Panel?

    Vista - Access 2003 Can't replace Db

I have changed the permissions on the folder to allow full control for all users and the db still will not copy and replace. One strange thing is, I can actually delete the orginal file and then copy the new file and it still will not work. It acts like the mdb file is sitting somewhere else...

    Vista - Access 2003 Can't replace Db

I have a database created in Access 03 for a customer running Vista. The customer is running a runtime version of Access 03. When I make changes to the db and copy them to the customer's pc, the changes do not get copied. If I copy the changes to a pc running XP everything copies just fine...

    Save as XPS message

Thanks for your quick response. Again, I haven't talked directly with the customer yet, but their default printer should be a DYMO label printer. I have not confirmed this yet. So to understand your answer, are you saying that to get that message their pc is trying to send it a "Microsoft...

    Save as XPS message

I have an AC 2003 db that a customer is running using runtime. There is a report in the db and when the customer tries to run it, a "save as xps" box comes up. The customer is running the db using 6 machines, only 2 of the machines are getting the error. Is this an issue with Vista?

    Make MDE problem

This may sound foolish but do you have MS Word installed on the machine that you are receiving the error message? If you do not, I have had the same problem and I think that I have traced it back to a file that is missing. The file is MSWORD.OLB and it should be located in the C:\program...

    Barcodes

It's actually pretty easy to implement barcodes into your db. You can download for free a 3 of 9 barcode font. The only requirement is when you print the barcode on a report you have to concatenate an * on either end of the field ... "*"&[fieldname]&"*"

Print 3 copies of Invoice with different remark

I've done this before and it may not be the most efficient way but it works. Create three different reports, each with the different txt you need with the same record source. Create 3 macros to print each report and in the on click event call the different macros docmd.runmacro "MacroName".

    Corrupt DB

Decompile, sorry. I sent my db to Everythingaccess.com and they could not recover all of my modules so I looks like I am starting over. Thanks for everyone's help.
