Pat, thanks for your hint. My DB has about 6-8 users. It is not yet split and located on a networkdrive. The problem is that is it sometimes corrupt. I am not that expert access user, so how would you suggest to split the CB? Thanks

thanks for that hint, but the strange thing is that some of the fileds are okay and some not. Some show even after importing a date, the others don't and i can not change the field type when importing

Hi, i have an ecxel sheet witch contains 2 collums with dates. In Ecxel all dates look good, but when i try to import it to access (via the build in funktion "get external data" ) some of the dates change to numbers. Any one an idea how i could solve that? thanks:D

thanks, but my problem is that the textbox named tbHidden changes value when changes in from appear. I agree boolean would be a good choice as well, but with my little knowledge coding VBA i just used the code i found. My problem is not to hide that text box, my problem is when i chosse visible...
