Hello Is it possible to achieve that when opening an Access 97 database with Access 2000 or Access XP, no "input box" appears asking whether the database should be converted or not. The database should not be converted ! Regards, Stefan

What is wrong with Access 95? At least, the runtime files are a reasonable size.
