    Also hold shift down while access is starting up this will bypass startup features if you cannot see the database window goto Window>Unhide and you should see it there. Alter your startup options as usual and always make a backup of your mdb before taking and measures to secure it... good luck...

    Have you looked at can/grow/shrink properties without seeing the layout of the report very hard to help... :) PS. Thats only part of the problem would really need to see the db to address the other issues..

    And you’re sure the accountants get it right... Don't know about outside the UK but been developing a DB for a friend and discovered he now owes a large amount of VAT because of their advice.... Ultimately your accounts, record keeping etc are your responsibility no matter how good the software...

    Yep Curtis is right was just throwing out ideas I use calculated fileds in queries as well which is ok as long as you don't want to keep historic data if the prices change :)

    well to me looks like you want a multiple search criteria in your query something like..: Like "*" & [Forms]![frmYourForm].[MySearchText] & "*" That can be used in criteria of each field for your query to return your result.
