    it was a text box, but I don't think the control is available to pass data in the open event... possibly LOAD, either way the format event works. I was making a shipping label, in case anyone wonders what this is for.

    well He's 16...and you know Kids and the internet :) I think that is what I'm trying to say, grab the tab and drag it to a separate window...Firefox doesn't do that ( you can drag them left right on bar only). I wonder how long before we get in trouble for turning this into a Random discussion :)

    Ya I know I can switch the tabbing off in options >Current DB... as far as FireFox, the Tabs don't pull out like Chrome..my son actually showed me..you can also drag them back up to the tab bar and it snaps in
