Have you tried setting by default value 0 (zero) in the fields that are being summed? I'm not sure but may work. This should be done in the settings of the fields in the tables.

Thank you Gizmo although note that once he blocks that field, he cannot longer select it so as to filter! That is the problem I'm having. In the video he just actually block it so as the field cannot be modified (this is just one part of what I want). And also I'm wanting to filter by registry...
