what criteria do i enter to bring up records that say in a memo table i have wrote "the cat sat in the hat" and on another "the cat is ill" that if i enter "cat" in the search it will bring up both records. or "sat" would only bring up the one record

yes but i need to display the age and the average age on a report and it wont let me have the age field added to the query twice

theres an entry with the ages of clients. How do i display the age of clients as well as the average age of the clients?
