    Buttons/Navigations/control properties

This is what is in the working form without the second form added: Option Compare Database Private Sub Form_BeforeUpdate(Cancel As Integer) End Sub I did not write the first event in the the live db. Should this be what is in the VB?

    Buttons/Navigations/control properties

Is it because I added a second subform? In the earlier versions of my db I only had one subform (it is set up for for 4 subforms and I just added the second subform) and there is no VB on that database. But when I added the second form it now has that in the VB but the button will only work...

I oopsed...BIG TIME! I really need your help. My buttons no longer work on my forms. I had a find button on the main form of my database but no matter how many times I delete the button and re add it to the main form, it will no longer search the database. I added a new Sub form that will...

    Disabling/Enabling Combo boxes in forms

Will it matter if it is a Main Form and a Subform? They are linked by the EmployeeID so if I put the code in the Subform it should look at the Main form correct?

Few Combo Box Questions and Navigation Buttons

I would like the "Find Record" button to automatically tie back to the Employee ID like I have circled in the attachment. I know there is a way on the Event Procedure but I am not sure of the wording and I have done a lot of searches to get me pointed in the right direction but I got nothing so...

As I am slowly learning more and more of what Access can do and refining my program (as I am finding out it will never be quite finished) :), I am wondering about a few things. 1. On my Main Form I would the find record button tied to one field so I don't have to get out of the tabbed form to...

Added Table to Back End not Linking up to Front End

Yes, I actually just figured it out as your email popped through. I just had to go to the External Data tab and click on access and do the link like you said and select the tables that have been added and then relink all the tables. Thank you!!

Added Table to Back End not Linking up to Front End

I did a search in here as well as Google to figure out why when I relinked the front end to the back end after adding 2 tables to the back end that the tables did NOT show up on the front end. Only the original tables that I began with. From what I have read there are different ways to do it...

Using Unbound combo boxes in a form

They are value lists with the exception of one field. So I can change them at the table level, then go to the form and back in the value list at the form level and this should not cause any corruption to the database with the info?

Using Unbound combo boxes in a form

Quick question? Is it an easy fix to go change all the tables and forms after there is a great deal of info in the database?

Using Unbound combo boxes in a form

I leave the fields in the table view as text fields then in the form change them to combo boxes doing exactly what I would at the table level but in the form instead?
