Well, the PK is bound, but the query also looks up, name, address#1, address#2, town, county, postcode and phone number. So if you use colum(1) you get name in the text box, if you use colum(2) you get address#1 in the text box, etc. etc. Column(0) is the PK. The thing is, these are Doctors...

Hi Pat Well, its Access 97. FE and BE split. FE on the Users PC. A standard table with "ID", "UserName", "Department", "Password" and "AccessLevel". UserName is the primary keyfield. 14 rows (1 per User) Just a standard DLookup to find password, and accesslevel (as per the help file)...
