Within Table properties you can set whether it is HIDDEN or not ... as far as I'm aware (and from experience) you can't create a link to a hidden table. Whether a change to this property breaks an existing link I don't know.

I'm thinking the most likely issue is that you can't use a label tag in an expression ... is there any way you can replace the label with a text box?

Should be possible ... by creating and using a CROSSTAB query (rather than a SELECT query) for your report. If you've never done a crosstab query then you might find this a little tricky In practical terms the major challenge will be accommodating 50+ columns of data on a single sheet? ;-)

I think you are looking at available FIELDS to pull into the report rather than the RECORD SOURCE feeding the report ...

You need to create a CROSSTAB query, I believe

Go into DESIGN mode in the report, load the Properties, and look at the Record Source on the Data tab (probably a Query)

Nowadays, Access Runtime (v2007) is a FREE download to the whole world. So, whilst you may be selling an application that uses Runtime you are not actually selling Runtime. Rather, you are selling the Access application that you have developed.

Should be possible ... Sounds like you want a MEMO field (rather than a TEXT field) in your data Table to store a comment, plus a Yes/No field. Once the comment is entered, a command button running an Update query will update the Yes/No field to a "Yes" and conditional formatting on the...

Update: Lexmark appear to accept that this is a problem at their end ... seemingly they cannot get their printer to act/pickup as the default printer for all reports!? Anyone else experienced anything similar with Lexmark or any other Manufacturers? Another thing I didn't know ...

Hi ... I'd check some of the bases if you haven't already Exactly what are the links (Excel; ODBC)? Is there an Autoexec macro running on startup? Have you run the Compact & Repair utility on the database? Have you downloaded all available Windows updates?

ps It's still true that for all Header records the first 19 characters will be exactly the same ...
