    Search Problem

Well the row source for lstElectricitySearch3 (and that is the only one I looked at) has the filtering done off of a control on the Infrastructure tab called txtSearch2. From just the quick look I had this cannot be right if you are trying to search for something on the Electricity tab. Yup...

    Vista

Well Just to keep things going Vista RC1 has been released for download and personally I have found it to be reasonably stable. As for the cosmetic aspects well frankly my usual first steps once I get a new Microsoft OS is to make it look like 98 since that is what most of my customers are used...

    Binding forms to multiple tables

B: When you use the wizard to create a form one fo the first things it asks is what to bind it to. It provides a combo box for you to from and in this combo is a listing of all existing tables and queries. Without picking one of those the wizard can not continue. Now if you have not made and...

    Binding forms to multiple tables

I have mulled over this for a couple of days and I am sorry but damn this bugs me. First of all there is rarely a time when the word 'never' should be used so flippant, and although I do agree that it is unwise to link a form to a table the number of times I have bothered to link it to SQL for...

    Binding forms to multiple tables

Well you could either bind the form to a query that is made up of the two tables so you have access to the field you want to make a text box out of or you could use a dlookup.

    New Twist On Graphics

Possible Solution I've had a quick glance at some of the other posts you have done to make sure I fully understand what you are trying to do and I am not sure that that is the best approach. I am attaching a sample of a method that may be more accomodating to what you are trying to do. What...

    Cannot Edit in Subform

Sounds like the record set for the subform is not updateable. If it is based on a query try opening the query and see if you can add a record there. If you can not then you will need to modify it so it can be updated.

    Ordering/Sorting Data in Form

Sounds like you have based your forms on your tables instead of basing them on queries. A rather common mistake. Basically just make a new query in design view and add tblProducts to it. This is the only table needed. Then add all the fields from the table to the query. Put the sort order...

    Adding a new record

Seems to me that what you really need to do is to use a sub form for the vacinations. The main form would be for the pet the sub form would contain the vacinations for that pet. If you have problems setting this up let me know and I will see what I can do about sending you a sample. DES

    Help with date procedure

Lots of picking and choosing going on there Smitty. What i usually do is to create a box for the start date and for the end date - Actually I usually use a Date/Time Picker to get these dates. From there I create a query uses those to values to filter out anything not within those dates. Then...
