Re: Rich text field and numbering list.....

you need to have an Arabic office. reading order in Arabic is right to left, vice versa for English.

unable to test but take a look a your control Reading Order property on the format tab - try changing to right to left

I have that and the default direction for the DB is right to left
BTW

Bullets works in right to left and left to right too

Just Numbering works in left to right only

Re: Rich text field and numbering list.....

it was the reading order of the Subject control I was referring to - it is still set to context in your file.

unable to properly test here because of default window settings but with these settings

File>Options>Client Settings>Editing>Default direction - Right to left
Form>Control>Properties>Format>Text Align - Right
Form>Control>Properties>Format>Reading Order -Right to left

this is what I get

however you say it works with the English language so it doesn't necessarily prove anything - I was just suggesting you may not have applied all the settings, you only mention the database setting

Re: Rich text field and numbering list.....

regret I do not have any other suggestions, it might be a bug - do you have a colleague who may have had the same requirement? Alternatively try contacting MS

May take some time, but go to this link

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/off...oleft-property

at the bottom you will find a number of links for ways to contact them
