Hi guys,

A simple one I hope. I have built a purchase order database, and I want to have reports on each category. Can I use one form combo box to give a category, which gives a secon combo box for items. Example Maintenance in tye first box, gives electrical,, or hydraulic etc in the second.

Thanks to anyone who replies.

Check out the Developer's Solutions db in the Access sample db's for info on how to control contents of 2nd combo based on selection from the 1st combo. One of the form examples uses this method.

Data base attached.

When you open the Main Purchase form, You will see the category combo box. This houses all the items in my category list. I want to say have a "consumable" category and this would bring up grinding tools , cleaning consumables etc. Your help is very much appreciated.

Its my first attempt at this so excuse the way I've built it !
Mike
