2 DSNs conflict

Has anyone had a conflicting DSN's issue? I have an append query that uses 1 DSN for the source data and another DSN for the SQL table that I'm appending to. Independently the DSN's work fine. When combined as input/output they give an "ODBC call failed error- No privilege to the directory (#-55)". Both DSNs are system DSNs.

Has anyone run into this and hopefully come up with a workaround?

i may be wrong here - just thinking:

each file runs independently but more than one cannot run... em

does some process lock the folder for access when either DSN is running?

i'll see if i can recreate it... and get back...

No folder locking

Just the error.

I would love to hear any ideas on solving this.
