So I have my database created and split and the user level security works great on it. Its on the network everyone can access it and do what they need to do, except for one or two of my users. They are using 64 bit windows seven, when they click the shortcut it fails and they get a messagebox saying that it cant find MSACCESS.exe. This is because it is looking in program files for msaccess but its in program files(x86) because of the 64 bit architecture. I really don't know what to do to make it run for them, especially since I can't even open the database on a 64bit machine to create a new shortcut that would point to program files(x86)

could you possibly go into pfx86, make a shortcut of the executable, and put it in regular program files? why not do that?

Why can't you manually create the shortcut on their Win 7 computers?

Manually creating it worked, I don't know why that never came to mind when I was trying to solve this myself :(
