Hi,

Are there any willing people who would do me a favour please and download my Application and install it to see if it works? I can download it and install it but i wrote it so it will always work. I have had lots of downloads recently but it hasnt been installed at all? i know because during the installation, the validation process adds the user to the licence database.

If you would be so kind to check it, id really appreciate it.

This application is runtime but does not include a Runtime version of Access. It installs via .exe but, its totally safe. Ive been around here long enough to be known a trustworth i hope :D

Once installed, it should have a 5 day demo. Details of unlocking can be obtained by contacting me, I cant post here for obvious reasons.

Again, if you could test it out, that would great and very appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Nigel, I would do it on my personal computer at home, and will get back to you. :)

I got a message that it can't update wshom.ocx because it's protected by Windows. I'm using Win XP SP3 if that helps.

Hi guys

Thanks so far. I had that error msg a while ago and thought I had fixed in in the install. I recall the issue being a registry permission thing. I'll look into that and get back.

Oddly enough though, I have XP machine here and it works but then as I said before, I wrote it so it would always work. I'll do the fix then post an update

Cheers

Hi

The wshom.ocx is fixed now. Instead of trying to add during the install, it is now checked for existence first when the app runs and if it doesn't exist, the file will be copied to system32, registered and referenced. I will upload it again if I can get some testers.

There will be a AWF function that will allow long time users here to have a free version. I don't want to distribute it free because I sell it and a special version could be re distributed so I have set up a function to check a live list. Once the AWF user us registered, it cannot be re registered.

Cheers
