A2007 BE but A2003 FE, how?

I was under the understanding that there is no Database window in 2007 as it is now named "Navigation Pane"

Please correct me if I am wrong.

i prefer the layout of the old database window, but the Nav pane is bascially the same thing, with more bells and whistles, but permanently docked to the LHS. It starts not visible, but pressing F11 opens it, and then it remains open as a strip down the LHS. Not sure how to disable the F11 option.
