I'm about to buy a new laptop. I was informed by a salesperson (that seemed fairly knowledgeable) that A2003 and newer will run on Vista, but A2000 will install but has problems. Many, if not most, of my clients are still running A2000, and so I prefer to develop their apps in A2000.
I haven't run into any real issues with clients running a finished A2000 app in A2003 or A2007, other than the macro warning. I haven't had any Vista complaints either.
Can someone with A2000/Vista confirm or deny whether I should be concerned or not. I'm leaning toward Vista 32-bit, but the really good deals out there are all 64-bit. Any advice on that would also be appreciated.
I may also consider dual-boot to resolve issue and eventually upgrade to Windows 7 if I have to.
