OK - bob have you looked at transfering debt to credit cardsthat have a 0% charge on them for x months (there is usally a 2% transfer fee) - this might give you the breathing space you need - but remember to clear the card at the end of the period (transfer onto another credit card with another 0 % rate on it- you need to keep your eye on it though.... or get a lodger in (rent a room or basement out)
