Hi there

Hope that someone can help me with this. I have a search form that runs a query. When the query is run it redisplays the results on another form. All okey dokey to this stage. Where I have multiple answers I need to be able to allow the user to click on the record and have the corresponding form for that record opened for viewing/printout. I have put a macro in the first text box 'on click' to open the form, but it is not opening the form to the corresponding record, but to the first one alphabetically.
Can anyone assist? I think that I am nearly there!

Many thanks to all

Sonya.

Sonya,
You can use the command button wizard. Create open form button then select "open forma nad display specific records". You need to like the related field (usually primary keys) on the left window to the window on the right. Then just click the command button and you will be at that current record.(filtered record)

Thanks Bill.....would you believe it that I had this brainwave after posting my topic and I have a learned a valuable lesson in the process - not to overcomplicate things - which is definately what I was doing.

Once again many thanks and many thanks to exasperated people who have helped me in the past - they probably though that I wanted something more because the answer was so easy!
