Abreviations, shortcuts....

Please excuse my lack of "online" knowledge because I'm not a "chat" guru.

I've read many posts online where people use abbreviations and don't have a clue what they mean. I don't personally use many abbreviations myself.

Here is one example in this forum: IMHO. What does it stand for, "in my home office"?

Please list any other abbreviations that you think are worth to know.

IMHO
An abbreviation for in my humble opinion, this term is used in various online communications, such as e-mail messages or postings to newsgroups or BBSs; it usually appears in brackets like this: <IMHO>. Using this term is a way of making sure that others understand that you are merely expressing your opinion on a debatable subject without passing judgement.

This is a shortcut.

Type some thing like hotmail in the address bar then press Ctrl+Enter.
It adds "www." and ".com" to the end.

Never heard or used the phrase myself but I do prefer your definintion..
