acces process running after I close program

Hello,

I'm running Access Xp on a Win2k box. Whenever I close the program, the MSACCESS process will continue running. This wouldn't be a huge problem except for the fact that when I attempt to reopen the app, I must first open taskmgr and end the process.

Anyone else have trouble with this?

dat,

You must have a previous Access app running that
terminates with "DoCmd.Close", instead of:
"DoCmd.Quit"

It might not even be your current db under
development, just the one running prior to your
noticing this.

yes i am having the same problem. when ever i close out access 2000 on a xp machine i cannot re open it unless i end the process in task manager. any other good ideas ?
