Access 2000 slow in XP?

Hi all,

Ive recently been migrated from a win2k machine to a XP machine, with Access 2000, and now im finding my coding/querys run very slowly, with spurts of (Not Responding) + white screen. Is this a known occurance? and is there anyway to increase performance?

Does this happen to other databases?

I had a similar issue before and I ended up importing everything to a new database and that solved the problem.

i am running A2000 on xp - no problems at all
just updated to 2003
