Access 2003 and 2010 on the same computer

A lot has been said and written about having Access 2003 and 2007 installed on the same computer.

I decided to skip 2007 but I like to try 2010.

Does anyone have experience yet with having 2003 and 2010 Beta on the same machine?

According to the instructions that came with the current beta:

You must fully uninstall all previous Office software before installing Office 2010 client products. This applies to the Technical Preview build, as well as Office 2007, Office 2003, etc.

I have it on a PC in the office that was no longer being used.

Here is what I found on the Microsoft site:

Upon installation of your Office 2010 Beta, you may be offered the option to Upgrade or Customize. Clicking Upgrade results in upgrading your current version of Microsoft Office to Office 2010 Beta. Selecting Customize allows you to set your current version of Microsoft Office to coexist with Office 2010 Beta, with the exception of Outlook and SharePoint Workspace (formerly known as Microsoft Office Groove 2007). Outlook 2010 and SharePoint Workspace 2010 cannot coexist with previous versions on your computer, so you will need to select one version of the program to have installed on your computer. If you are not offered the option to Upgrade or Customize, the default behavior will be for your Office 2010 Beta to coexist with your previous Office product(s).

My understanding was also that you needed to uninstall any other version of Office before installing. So I installed it on a Virtual Machine.

May I ask you what Virtual Machine software are you using?

I just read about Sun VirtualBox, it seems to be good choice.

I'm using Virtual PC from Windows 7. Prior to Win7 I was using Microsoft's Virtual PC 2007 on Windows Vista.
