Hi All,

I am new here and have a conundrum whose solution escapes me...

I designed a form in Access 2007. The fields in the 'Detail' section appear in 'Design View', but when I switch to either 'Layout View' or 'Form View' the only thing that appears is the text in the form header and footer.

I have checked the property sheet for the Form and the Detail section and the 'Visible' property for is set to 'Yes'.

Any ideas as to what is wrong, and how to fix it?

I designed another form in the same dB and it displays just fine. I am really stumped. Your help will be appreciated! I'd hate to have to delete the form and start over!

Thanks!

check to see if its simply minimised inbetween the header and footer.. put your mouse at the join between the two, click and drag down.. that may reveal it..

the other thing you could do is simply copy all the controls and code to a new form

Zaeed,

Thanks for your reply!

I should mention that when in Form view or Layout view the space that should be occupied by my input fields is visible.

so the Detail space is empty when your on Form View, but Design View shows there being objects..

most odd... Are the controls set to Display When = Always?

Matt,

I believe that that they are as I didn't change that item in the property sheet. I'll have to check that when I return to work on Thursday. I had hoped that some of the good folks here could give me some ideas before I dive into it again. It is really very odd!

Thanks again for your help!

Research continues...
