Dear All,
I’ve recently installed Office- 2007 but facing the below problems-
For Access-2007
1. The Access Icon is not been shown properly. In my PC it is like the attached Icon (Access Icon). But should be viewed differently. How an I make it correct???
2. The command for Data Export to Excel is inactive (see attached Export to Excel). As a result I can’t create the report on Excel Format. How can I enjoy Output to Excel???
3. Output to PDF Format (*.pdf) is also not working. How can I make it functional???
For Excel-2007
It is taking to save the Excel files (around 3 MB) around 15/20 minutes to be saved, though the same file was OK in Excel-2003. Is there any solution for quick save???
Your kind suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Regards
Rana

To output to PDF you will need the addin for it Do a search on the MS download website OutPutToPDF.

I would uninstall office and reinstall it. Looks like office 2003 still has some files on your pc. I believe that microsoft has a utility to completey remove office, search microsoft for it.

hi,

install Service Pack 2 for Office 2007

How do you know what service pack you are running, if any, and what is the latest SP in use.

David

The errors uncovered indicate the absence of SP2

SysCmd (715) is the command to know the version of Access by VBA

4017 Access 2007 (Beta-1)
4518 Access 2007
6211 Access 2007 SP1
6423 Access 2007 SP2

The "About" info in Office 2007 is buried in the Access Options menu. Click the Office button, click Access Options, click Resources, Click About. Although the same About data is also listed below the About Microsoft Office 2007 line where it lists your service pack number and Access version number.

Mine states Access 2007 12.0.6423.1000 SP2 MSO 12.0.6425.1000
