Access 2007 Queries - Get plus & divide

Hi

i have 2 column jun2010 and july2010, this column contains values that i need to plus, after get the values i need to divide by 2.
how to do that in access 2007

example ;-

Item----Jun2010----July2010----Total Jun+Jul/2

ABC-----56---------40-----------48

the 48 come from (56+40)/2

In a Field cell of the query designer:
Somename: (Jun2010 + July2010)/2

However, if these fields are coming from a table you have a denormalized database. Using columns for time periods is the wrong way to design a table.

Having fields called Jun2010 and July2010 inidicates that you haven't normalised your data. Would you create another field when you get to July 2012?
